Golf Partners Worldwide is delighted to have agreed to an extension to the International Pairs franchise for South Africa, effective from 2018 and running for an additional five years, to 2023. The franchise is run by African Sports Management who run the Windhoek International Pairs, and the team has also acquired the franchise rights for Southern Africa, which includes Angolo, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe, and will continue to grow the International Pairs brand throughout Southern Africa golfing regions.

Golf has continued its steady growth in Southern Africa and Gerhard Conradie, Managing Director, ASM said “We are delighted to have secured the extension to our franchise and increasing our countries for International Pairs, an event that has a long history here in South Africa and we can now look to increase the brand throughout Southern Africa.”

Patrick Mulcrone, Managing Director, Golf Partners Worldwide said  “It has been a great start to 2017 with ASM extending their franchise for South Africa and taking on the rights for Southern Africa. We believe that they are the perfect partners to promote our brand throughout Southern Africa. Their vision and aspirations to continue growing the event throughout the region is an exciting prospect for us all and we look forward to continuing to work with them and their sponsors.”

After many years of hosting International Pairs in Scotland, Golf Partners Worldwide decided to move the event out of the ‘Home of Golf’ to sunnier climes of Javea, Spain 2014 /15. This year we are pleased to announce that the International Pairs World Final 2017 will be staged in Portugal at the 5 stars Penina Hotel & Golf Resort and will be played between 6th – 10th November 2017 on the fantastic Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course, which has previously hosted the Portuguese Open.
